The current owner acquired the car in 2021 from the estate of a deceased relative. It had by then been stored in the relative's garage for many years, awaiting a restoration that never came to be. After acquiring the car, the current owner got straight to work on the restoration. Everything that did not meet the standard was replaced with new parts or restored. The Fiat 600 is a popular classic in its home country of Italy, so many parts are being remanufactured. During the restoration, most of the parts for this car were sourced from Italy. When the restoration was complete, the owner had to have an origin verification carried out by the Swedish Transport Agency, as the car had been dropped from the vehicle registry during the years it had been off the road. A registration inspection was then carried out at the vehicle inspection station. On July 8, 2023, the car was once again registered and roadworthy. This is also why the Fiat has been given a modern registration number with a letter at the end. The odometer shows just under 80,000 km, and we do not know whether this is accurate. Considering that the car had been off the road for many years and was in good basic condition before the restoration, the odometer reading seems plausible.
The owner is a great Renault Gordini enthusiast and has restored several such cars. This Fiat was a fun interlude, and it also felt especially rewarding to carry out the restoration as a tribute to the relative who never had the chance to complete it before he passed away. Now that the restoration is finished, the Fiat is being sold at auction to fund future projects.
The car comes with a spare wheel, owner's manual, and 1 ignition key. Jack is missing.

Zustand technisch
Equipped with a liquid-cooled, four-cylinder inline engine of 633 cc (0.6 L), the car produced 22 hp. The engine is mounted at the very rear of the car, in a rear-engine layout. The gearbox has four speeds. The entire engine has been fully rebuilt. Among other things, the crankshaft has been ground and new pistons fitted. The block did not need boring; a cylinder honing was sufficient. The cylinder head was rebuilt at the same time. The entire brake system has been rebuilt with new parts. New clutch, etc.
The gearbox is essentially the only thing that was not rebuilt, as it was not needed. Everything works without remark. -

Completely new interior, including a new rubber mat in original specification. Neat and tidy.

The entire car has been disassembled, and the body has been repainted both inside and out. The body was in such good condition that no rust repairs were needed. New chrome bumpers, new sunroof, and more. The tires are new 12-inch Nankang with removable whitewall trim.
