A user-friendly B11 with features such as an additional mounted heating system, a 12-volt plug, and Citroen BX seats. Extra turn signals have been installed for added security. Yellow lights are installed in the headlights, as well as yellow auxiliary lights. On hot days, the windscreen can be opened to let in fresh air.
This B11 is powered by an early Citroen DS engine. It also features a somewhat newer transmission with a better gear ratio for today's roads and traffic. The previous owner had owned the car for 49 years.

Good condition. Engine was replaced with a slightly later Citroen D type engine. The same engine was supposedly installed in late B11s.

Zustand Interieur
To improve comfort, replace the seats with Citroen BX seats. The original chairs are still present. Some additional buttons and gauges. Stains from moisture on the inside of the door and the back seat.

It has a few minor scratches and marks. There are some little bubbles in the paint from an older handmade repaint.

Fakten zum Modell
Det finns några bilar som satt avtryck i historien – och Citroën Traction Avant är en av dem. Modellen som var Citroëns första framhjulsdrivna tillverkades mellan 1934 och 1957. Bäst sålde fyrcylindriga B11 men den fanns även som sexcylindrig B15. Genom åren tillverkades den i en rad generationer men grundtekniken med självbärande helsvetsad kaross utan ram, framhjulsdrift och hydrauliska bromsar fanns med hela vägen.
B11 fanns dels som vanlig Berline, som Cabriolet, niositsig Familiale och transportbilen Commerciale. B15 med den större motorn såldes dock bara som Berline och Familiale. På slutet, strax innan presentationen av DS tillverkades en kort serie med gashydraulisk fjädring bak.
Samtliga hade toppventilsmotor med lösa foder. Från början låg effekten på 34 hk men växte sakta men säkert, och i mars 1939 höjdes den till 56 hk.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
