Beschreibung
According to the Swedish vehicle register, the car has had 5 registered owners, most likely because it was transferred internally within Saab several times before reaching the dealer in Kungsbacka. There, it was sold on 2009-03-03 to its first owner, a gentleman living in Lidköping. He kept the car until 2024, when it was taken over by a retired Saab salesman in Åmål. He purchased it for nostalgic reasons, as during his active years as an authorized Saab dealer he had always admired the Saab 9-3 convertible. For health reasons, he is now letting the car pass on to its next enthusiast.
In summary, the car has had one main user, since the current owner has barely driven it. The first owner was reportedly meticulous, always storing the car in a garage—something that the second owner has continued to do.
Included with the car are the owner’s manual, service book, all inspection records from 2013 to the present day, as well as the spare wheel, tool kit, and jack.

Zustand technisch
B207E 4-cylinder inline turbo engine with a stated output of 150 hp. Equipped with a 5-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Serviced according to recommendations, with a stamped service book included. Most recently serviced on 2025-08-29 at Heintz Bil in Åmål (former authorized Saab workshop) at 28 138 km. The rear brake discs show some light surface rust/wear from long periods of standing, see picture. Newly inspected and approved by the Swedish inspection authority on 2025-08-19.

Zustand Interieur
Leather-covered front and rear seats, with vinyl on the door panels. No wear on the door sills or the lower panels by the driver’s seat—see pictures. You can tell someone has sat in the driver’s seat, but it was hard to spot any real wear. During the test drive we even took off our shoes to avoid dirtying the floor mat—that’s how well-preserved the car felt. Equipped with air conditioning, which blew ice cold when tested. The only minor drawback is a small discoloration on the headliner. We don’t know if it can be cleaned off. Please review the pictures to form your own impression.

Zustand Exterieur
Very good condition—about as close to mint as you can get for an unrestored low-mileage car that has covered 28,000 km on the road. The wheels show a few minor scratches, and according to the date codes, the tires are the original ones from delivery. They show normal wear for the mileage, with the front tires, as usual, more worn than the rear, but still with fully acceptable tread depth. The underside of the car is in impressively fine condition—see pictures. It has never been driven on salted winter roads, and even all the decals on the underside components remain intact.

Zustand gesamt
Striking colour and condition. A clear collector’s car.
