It has been parked in an underground garage in Göteborg for at least 15 years before we collected it. After a wash, its true colour could finally be seen again. The car was repainted in dark red at some point, to a good standard, with only a few paint runs and small imperfections, but still presents well. The main cosmetic issue is oxidised chrome, mainly caused by concrete dust during storage, which can be improved with time and care.
These cars were built to last with heavy-gauge steel, so rust is not a concern on this example. It is inspection-exempt, but will require a full review and engine start-up service before being put back on the road.

Zustand technisch
The engine does not currently start, but everything under the bonnet is complete and appears to be in usable condition. An electronic ignition has been fitted, and the engine turns over freely when rotated in gear. The car rolls easily, making it simple to load and transport, though it will need to be collected with a trailer. It sits on good wheels with older tires that still hold air for several days.

Zustand Interieur
Interior is complete but would benefit from a proper valet. Both front and rear bench seats are good, with only small fabric damages around the front seat frame. The headliner is in good condition. Door cards are complete but show wear and some moisture damage, making them straightforward to repair or recover. Carpets and rubber mats are worn but present.
The car features a cool retro 1950s dashboard in good condition with original gauges and clock, as expected for the Deluxe model. There is some light overspray along the edges of the rear seat. -
Zustand Exterieur
Bodywork is straight with no visible rust issues or damage, built from the heavy-gauge steel typical of the era. The underbody is impressively clean and solid, with only light surface rust and no structural damage. The paintwork is shiny overall, with a few minor runs and marks, but nothing that stands out—its thickness should make polishing easier. As mentioned, the chrome shows heavy oxidation; it can be improved with time and cleaning, though only rechroming would make it perfect.

An ideal choice for anyone seeking 1950s retro American styling and comfort on a budget. With a proper service, mechanical review, and some interior refresh, it should be easily put back on the road.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
