On April 23, 1959, the car is recorded as delivered and sent to Ostermans in Stockholm, housed in the legendary marble halls. For unknown reasons, the car remained there until 1964, when it was sold to a man from Piteå. After that, it changed hands several times between Luleå, Boden, and Piteå. It was taken off the road in the late 1970s, and from 1980 to 2007 it belonged to an owner in Piteå. It was most likely during this period that the car was restored and received the appearance it has today. Since 2017, it has been cared for by an enthusiast on Orust.

Zustand technisch
The engine and drivetrain feel very good, apart from some noise in first and reverse gear (unsynchronized); the car pulls as it should there, but it sounds like the synchro rings in the gearbox could use replacement. Nevertheless, the gearbox shifts smoothly without issues. The engine feels lively, and the steering is precise and sporty. The shock absorbers and springs were replaced relatively recently, giving the car a firm, responsive feel—and together with the rack-and-pinion steering, the sports car experience is nearly complete.

Zustand Interieur
Largely original in appearance, with a few deviations that in no way detract from the overall impression. The seats—originally red, as previously mentioned—are now trimmed in brown vinyl/leatherette, though they remain in good condition. The carpets are nice, and at some point the car was fitted with seat belts. The interior of a car like this is primitive, so that concludes that part of the report. The luggage compartment? That is something of a challenge to inspect on a Sprite—but at least an older spare wheel is present, and the rest looks fine behind the vinyl cover that separates it from the cockpit.

Zustand Exterieur
This is an older restoration that has held up well. There are some scratches in the paint and a few bubbles, but the overall impression is very good. The soft top and side screens are included—most likely the original items. The soft top is in very good condition, with clear panels that are slightly yellowed.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
