Zustand technisch
Starts easily and runs smoothly in both the engine and drivetrain. During a short test drive on a smaller country road, the car felt tight, and the steering, automatic transmission, and brakes appeared to function well. It hasn’t been inspected on a lift, but what was visible looked good, with no remarks from the vehicle inspection.

Zustand Interieur
Here we have the satisfying click of the doors and the firmness of the seats. A well-maintained original light gray leather interior, with fine door panels, dashboard, textile carpets, and headliner—all showing mild signs of wear. Original rubber mats. Headrests at all four seats and foldable armrests in the front and rear. Curtains on the rear window. The instrument panel and wood trim are in excellent condition. The electric sunroof works perfectly. The AC is functional but has a leak that needs to be addressed.

Zustand Exterieur
Shiny and glossy paintwork with some wear consistent with the car’s age and mileage. The chrome, glass, rubber, and plastic details are in good condition. The car is fitted with fine, newer Melchior wheels and good tires. The exterior, both overall and in details, is in the same excellent condition as the rest of the car. The engine and trunk compartments are equally well-kept.

Fakten zum Modell
The entire design was lower, sleeker, and more aerodynamic than its predecessor. The engines featured aluminum blocks instead of cast iron, and both six-cylinder and V8 options were available. This was the first model from Mercedes to offer airbags and ABS brakes. A great deal of attention was also paid to aerodynamics and ergonomics, leading to improved fuel efficiency and safety.
For the 1986 model year, the body was updated and the engines were further modified, continuing the trend towards perfected technology and luxury. In total, 818,063 four-door versions were built.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
