In 2016, the engine was fully renovated by a company in Jönköping for approximately 60,000 SEK and fitted with Edelbrock alloy heads. The engine bay still looks great and has been well-maintained.
The car was repainted at some point, likely around 30 years ago while it was in the USA. The door tag details are: 65A M 28 24B 6 6 - 2-Door Hardtop, Luxury Bucket Seats - Wimbledon White - Ivy Gold Crinkle Vinyl - Jacksonville February 1965, which matches the car today. The bodywork is straight with no signs of rust, though there are a few small paint defects due to its age—nothing that stands out. The interior is very well-kept, with only a small rip on the seam of the driver’s seat. The mileage is listed as 39,242 miles, but it is likely that the car has actually covered at least 139,242 miles. There is no available history to confirm the actual mileage.

Zustand technisch
As mentioned, the car runs and drives well, needing only a simple belt replacement to stop the squeaking. It comes with nice wheels, good tires, and an extra set of wheels included (see the pictures). It is inspection-exempt and ready to drive home.

Zustand Interieur
Interior is very well-kept, with nice seats, aside from the mentioned split in the driver’s seat seam. The headliner, door cards, dashboard, and mats are all in good condition. The gauges are working fine, and the car is equipped with a radio/cassette player.

Zustand Exterieur
Bodywork is straight with no dents or visible rust issues. The underbody is solid, with only light surface rust in places. The paintwork looks nice and presentable but has a few small touch-ups and paint cracks around the bonnet and headlights, as well as a small blister around the lower edge of the roof near the rear window (see pictures). The chrome work is bright, with some oxidation on the window frames and door handles.

This is a nice driver’s car with significant investment in recent years. The small cosmetic issues don’t stand out and can be addressed over time. It comes with some documentation and older receipts (see pictures).

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
