Beschreibung
The car became part of a collection on Gotland in 1986, where it was sparingly used until 2010 when it was taken out of service. Since then, it has been stored in an exhibition hall and well-preserved. The current owner inherited the collection in 2021 and, during the summer, they started it up and made this car roadworthy.

The car has not been tested by BWA, but it is believed to run smoothly. The brakes have been overhauled with new hoses and pads. Theres is a leak from the water pumo.

The car retains its original interior with stains and signs of wear, and the driver's seat has torn fabric.

An older restoration that has held up well, although there are some rust spots at the lower edges of the doors. The chrome has rust and has flaked off on both the front and rear bumpers. The right front fender has some scratches

Buick's history is indeed quite rich. Founded in 1899, it's one of the oldest remaining automobile manufacturers. When General Motors was established in 1908, Buick became one of the brands under the GM umbrella, positioned just below GM's prestigious Cadillac brand.
In 1931, Buick introduced its straight-eight-cylinder engine. Prior to that, Buick had faced declining sales during the aftermath of the 1929 financial crisis and the early 1930s. For the 1936 model year, Buick designed a new body and style, which proved to be a sales success. The design was led by GM's iconic figure, Harley Earl. While there were some minor changes in the following years, it wasn't until 1938 that significant updates were made. These updates included a front-end upgrade, as well as relocating the fuel filler from the right to the left rear fender.
For the 1938 models, Buick offered several series: the Series 40 Special with a 122-inch wheelbase, the Series 60 with a 126-inch wheelbase, the Series 80 with a 133-inch wheelbase, and a Series 90 with a 140-inch wheelbase.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
