The car is right-hand drive which is very unusual in Sweden. Has previously been a private postman’s car in Sveg until 1988? After that the car ended up in Kristinehamn and Karlskoga and here the previous owner had renovated the car, with new paint and interior details, etc. Then the car was in an exhibition at a VW dealer Värmland before it was bought by the current owner in 2017. Extras are tow bar, a little extra chrome and funnel. In addition, the original radio is improved with AUX input so you can listen to Spotify.
The car is equipped with a contemporary storage basket. A single key fits all locks. Two keys are included.
By 2014, the car had been driven 87,600 km and then the counter stopped. Later, the speedometer has been changed to another, used and the meter reading is now 34,800 km. We estimate that the car has travelled about 100,000 km in total, based on history and assessment of the engine and the condition of the car in general.

Zustand technisch
Condition of the engine is good. It starts easily with some standard oil leaks. The engine is serviced with all fluid in the engine, gearbox and brakes. Unfortunately, we have found that the clutch slips slightly under heavy load. The car is of course drivable but the clutch cable needs to be adjusted or the clutch should be replaced.

The interior renovated and replaced. New headliner, new floor mats and door cards. Seats are reupholstered and everything else is original.

The color of the car is absolutely wonderful, both in color and condition. The car is repainted in its original color.

The car has been in an exhibition car at VW dealers after the renovation. It's delivered with a freshly inspection/MOT and renovated by the previous owners.

Fakten zum Modell
1303 var toppmodellen i VW bubblas historia, som började 1937 och slutade mid sista bilen 2003.
1303 modellen som ibland kallas för "SuperBeetle" var den mest utvecklade och genomarbetade modellen med större kupé, välvd framruta, finare instrumentbräda, skivbromsar, bättre chassie, större motor osv. Produktionen upphörde 1975 och modellen byggdes bara i Tyskland. Härefter fortsatte Bubblan att byggas i många andra länder, men då bara i enklare (gamla) 1200/1300 utföranden. Idag är 1303 mycket eftertraktad då det är den bubbla som är finast och mest bekväm att köra med samtidigt som den har kvar all charm.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
