It is equipped with engine heater, time-typical roof rack. Many receipts and other documentation are included, including service book and warranty certificate regarding BMW replacement engine. The first owner is reportedly proudly told his grandson that the new engine was stronger than the original. But it's not confirmed. The car has been repainted on the vertical surfaces 2019/20.
Almost new summer tires, new shock absorbers all around. With the exception of clock, everything works.
July 1964 delivery in Kiruna to the first owner living in Pajala, reg.nr. BD 67134. In 1964-1994 driven about 180,000 km in the area around the Arctic Circle. In 1974 at about 117,000 km original BMW replacement engine. 1994-2006 cold garage in Norrbotten, 2006-2009 garage in Stockholm with relative of the first owner (2nd owner), 2009 - 2015 collector in Bålsta (3rd owner), beginning 2016 workshop in Stockholm (4th owner), Easter 2016-April 2019 garaged in a workshop in Uppsala (5th owner, myself), 2019 sparingly driven, winter 2020 repainted polished and, shock absorber replacement.

Fakten zum Modell
BMW Neue Klasse visades på bilsalongen i Frankfurt 1961. 1500 tillverkades mellan 1962 och 1964 då den ersattes av 1600. 23,554 exemplar tillverkades av 1500. Designen är signerad Giovanni Michelotti. I olika former fanns grundkarossen kvar ända fram till 1972. I och med Neue Klasse tog BMW ett kraftigt steg in i dess kommande framgångssaga och lämnade femtiotalets nödår bakom sig. Motorn hade överliggande kamaxel och kom att användas i utvecklad form i olika BMW-modeller under drygt tjugofem år. Karossen är självbärande med fjäderben fram och individuell bakaxelupphägning.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
