Zustand technisch
This car has not been completely unused during the twenty years. Started up from time to time. It starts and runs, the gearbox feels okay, but it also feels like it needs a review in engine and mechanics to be really good. Everything essential electrically works well except for a rear side window.

Zustand Interieur
Fabric upholstery in reasonably good condition, for some reason the driver's seat has been replaced and upholstered in leather and in poorer condition then the rest. The seats have also got the "SL syndrome" - the upholstery is collapsing. There are some scratches on the plastic details and at the bottom of the door sides, but nothing abnormal. Complete and fine in all details, headliner and carpets. Some rubber details have dried over the years.

Zustand Exterieur
Overall a pretty good body with a few spots and small improvements in the paint, no rust attacks to speak of other than cosmetic. There are some paint bubbles on the roof. Completely clean in and around the sunroof mechanism The car has been thoroughly rust-protected treated both underneath, there are traces of some older repairs in the boot. Nice in wheel arches and fender edges. Trim is in perfectly OK condition, a little chafing on the bumper.

Idag är bilmodellen R107 och C107 mycket attraktiva samlarbilar som börjar bli ovanliga. Många har levt hårda liv som bruksbilar och enligt historien byggdes de för att gå mer än 100 000 mil.
I mars 1973 introducerades USA-motorn på den europeiska marknaden i 450 SL. I mars 1980 introducerades nya V8:or från den nya S-klassen och i september 1985 gjordes den sista uppdateringen. 107 pensionerades 1989 efter en produktionscykel på 18 år.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
