Ford Consul 1.5 — 1952

• Zustand technisch

  Last inspected in 1976, if the car was started after that is unknown. The engine room is untouched original with a newer battery so some later attempts have probably been made. Most of the exhaust system is gone

• Zustand Interieur

  Complete and well-maintained vinyl upholstery. However, some species of small rodents seem to have feasted on the padding but it still feels good and firm. Door sides are whole but the seams have been worn by the ravages of time. Instrumentation and controls intact and very nice for their age. Very nice baker light steering wheel with little abrasion and crack-free. The glove compartment is extra nice. The ashtrays are in the novelty plastic and have never been used. Floor mats are original and has done decently well over the years. However, there has been moisture in the carpet / insulation which has created some internal rust in the floor. Otherwise completely flawless headliner has become a little faded over the years, some old moisture stains at the back. The trunk is relatively nice. Spare wheels, jack are in place.

• Zustand Exterieur

  Dark red paint has probably been repainted in whole or in part at some point. It has received a lot of rust protection during the years in traffic and it has probably saved it over the more than 45 years it has stood still. The only rust damage that is visible is at the bottom of the right front wing. Otherwise complete, nice and intact in trims, edges, doors, thresholds and floors. Front bumper has flaked and rusted a bit, at the back it is nice - completely stainless but got a small dent at some point. The grill is intact and nice and so are the reflectors in the headlights. Completely complete with trim, emblems and more. No obvious rust or damage to door edges and undersides.

• Zustand gesamt

  All in all, completely complete in everything from buttons, emblem lists and spare wheels. A nice, almost untouched object with a good body and interior.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .

• At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
• During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
