Volvo 850 T-5R T-gul 5-Cyl — 1995

The current owner of his son purchased this copy new. The owner, who was / is very interested in his car, has always developed it with the assistance of the workshop manager at Volvo dealer Eneqvist Bil in southern Stockholm. Many large and small details have been improved over the years. But, in general, only with Volvo's own details or through the Volvo dealer's care. Many ideas and accessories for Volvo's racing cars in the BTCC come from the Volvo range. According to the seller, the engine has been tuned and mapped for 314 horses, among other things. The chassis has also been upgraded with i.a. hlin adjustable shock absorbers and APE Racing brakes. The T-piece in the picture is from Rickard Rydell's personal street car. This should result in an improved power curve. According to the seller, it is mounted on a vacuum hose to control charging pressure.
The car was ordered in principle with everything that could be ordered when purchasing a new car. Special Ray-Ban sunglasses that came with the first cars sold are still available. Many of the replaced original parts are included in the sale.

  Excellent condition. An older repaint, this is because the front spoiler had paint damage, and when there was a risk of shade differences, the entire car was painted rather than just the spoiler.

Volvo 850 lanserades som sedan 1992 och sen kom kombivarianten 1993. 1994 Lanserade man en Turbo på 225hk, vilken var Volvos hittills starkaste personbil. 1995 toppades programmet av 850 T-5R, populärt kallad "T-Gul" efter den speciella gula färgen. T-gul sedan med manuell växellåda byggdes 383 exemplar varav 76 stycken såldes nya i Sverige. Volvo begränsar hela upplagan till 2 537 gula bilar, men efterfrågan är mycket större och det tillverkas 2516 svarta och 1911 gröna utöver de gula bilarna. Sverige tilldelades totalt 321 bilar av samtliga färger. Motorn trimmades till 240hk genom en overboost-funktion i 30 sekunder vid fullgas. 1996 följdes föregående års succé T-5R upp av 850R som marknadsförs i en flamröd färg "T-Röd" men tillverkas även i flera andra färger och till skillnad mot T-Gul är upplagan inte längre begränsad.
