The W111 introduced 1959 chared the basic chassis with the 4-cylinder 190 model, but got a longer front to accommodate the longer 6-cylinder engine. The 220S model, manufactured between 1960 and 1965, was available with either fuel injection or a double carburettors.

Zustand technisch
Has belonged to Jännaholm´s car collection for a long time. The refurbishing of the car was finalized in 2002, including new tires, and has since then only been run some few thousand kilometers.
According to receips, many parts were replaced during the refurbishing in 1992. For instance shock absorbers, light reflectors, bumpers, rubber details and some chrome strips -
Zustand Interieur
Very fine interior. Upholstery probably refurbished, new mat and fine ceiling. The glass covering the rear interior lighting is missing. Otherwise complete interior.
Some very fine cracks in the woodwork on the dashboard. -
Zustand Exterieur
Well-preserved old painwork. Minor rising of the paint on the roof, hoods and wheel screens. Some very small bumps on the engine hood.
The bumpers are very nice and most of the remaining chrome is in good condition. The rearview mirrors are from Volvo 140 series. New rubber strips. -
Zustand gesamt
Overall in a fine and neat condition.
