The first owner (residing outside of Kisa) had the car until 1974, the second until 1985, and then it was purchased by a Saab mechanic in Kisa, who along with a buddy renovated it to near-exhibition condition in the late 1990s. The car was disassembled and the body was repainted by a professional, and it still looks great. The paint shows no indications of flaws, drips, or anything else. Neither scuffs nor rusts. The car's interior is similarly in excellent original shape, however the driver's door fabric shows signs of age (see picture). We deem the inside upholstery and ceiling to be authentic and in excellent, unaltered condition. The trunk and engine compartment are in pristine shape.
The car is simple to start and drivable. The brakes require maintenance. The parking brake works properly. The chrome on the car's chrome accents, such as bumpers and hubcaps, has minor blemishes and specks that would be removed by polishing. The car was parked in 2001 and has been on display ever since. Since 2013, it has been placed in the collection of the Kisa Bilmuseum as one of the greatest vintage Saabs.
We assume that the odometer reading of just over 80,000 kilometres is accurate, given the car's good interior and absence of door play, etc. Included in the Saab is a large photo of the renovators near their car (see picture)

The car has a good engine and transmission, has only been driven 80,000 kilometres, and will require its final inspection and MOT. Since 2001, the car has not been driven, however it is frequently started and warmed up.

We deem the inside to be original, as it is lovely and complete. Only the driver's door's striped cloth is worn.

Great body and paintwork. The door shut lines and surfaces are lovely. The car has never been rusty, which is why everything is in such good condition.

With minimal finishing work on tiny elements (such as polishing the chrome and repairing the cloth on the door card), it is simple to create a very nice 93B.
However, first the brakes and car must be serviced and inspected. Then you have a real gem of a SAAB.

Fakten zum Modell
Med 93 tog Saab nya kliv – ut i världen! En ny och längsmonterad trecylindrig motor och skruvfjädring runt om, samt nya karosskulörer och en lyxigare inredningsstil förnyade märket i grunden. Formgivaren Sixten Sason visade sitt snille med ny ”italien-inspirerad” nos och omarbetad siluett. Få andra bilar kunde matcha 93:ans skarpa körskänsla (styrningen är magisk!). Med en vågad körstil var folkhemmets vardagsbil en vinnare på grus och bana.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
