Volvo 240 is one of Sweden's most popular passenger cars manufactured by Volvo between 1974 and 1993.

The successes of the Saab 900 Turbo made Volvo contend with a turbocharged version, 244 Turbo, which came in 1981, with a 155 hp strong B21 engine and only manual gearbox. There were relatively few copies sold when the turbo model was significantly more expensive than the DL and GL models. They were fun to drive so many sledges over the years. This has meant that fine original items today are real rarities that are bought as investment objects by collectors all over the world.

General information about the condition of the cars in Olofström
- The cars in the museum has been started and driven regularly since 2003, however they have not been tested annually by the Swedish car inspection authorities.
- Some of the cars has been stored in non-heated garages. These cars are in need of service and review of breaks. Some cars require more extensive renovation. Specific information is available under the description of each car.
- The batteries are unusable in some of the cars and the tires are old.
- For this auction the cars are not declared as vehicles of daily/normal usage, rather they are described from a collecting perspective.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- If you have won an auction where the reservation price is passed, please deposit to our client account the full amount before you arrange for pick up of any items.
- You will be fully refunded, including the bidding fee, if you at the time of inspection and delivery is of the opinion that the description of the item does not match its real condition.
- You will be debited the bidding fee if you do not inspect the item at its place of delivery.
