Since new, this Honda has had 16 owners. That may sound like a lot, but since this is a typical summer vehicle that sits in a garage for most of the year, each owner has driven relatively little. The odometer reads 55,600 km. If this is correct, the motorcycle has covered an average of 1,330 km per year. The current owner has owned the motorcycle for twelve years. Electric cooling fans have been fitted that can be switched on as needed.

Starts easily and runs well. Only test-driven around the block due to the weather. Serviced in the summer of 2026, at which time a new starter battery was also fitted. The rear tire was replaced 5 years ago. The front tire is older and in need of replacement.

Zustand Exterieur
Well maintained. The removable ducktail has been repainted, and we believe the rest of the paintwork is original, but this cannot be guaranteed. There is a small dent on the fuel tank; you have to look closely to see it. There are some minor marks and scuffs on the motorcycle. The original exhaust system has been replaced with a 4-into-1 Yoshimura RS-3. The front turn signals have been replaced with smaller ones; the original turn signals are included. The left mirror arm is taped.

The Honda VF 1000 R (model code SC16) is a sport motorcycle manufactured by Honda between 1984 and 1988. It was originally developed as a so-called homologation model, enabling Honda to use its most advanced racing technology in endurance and production racing.
The model is best known for its V4 engine with gear-driven cams. Unlike its standard sibling, the VF 1000 F, which had chain-driven camshafts, the R model used straight-cut gears. This eliminated the problems with cam chain tensioners and gave the motorcycle a highly distinctive, whining mechanical engine sound.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
