This Volvo was taken out as a company car at Volvo Torslanda on November 9, 1995. The current owner, who was employed by Volvo, purchased the car on October 13, 1997. Since 2013, the car has only been driven about 50 kilometers. The car has now undergone a startup service and will be delivered with a new inspection to the next owner. The car is in excellent condition overall. A few stone chips can be found if you look closely, and the interior is like new. The car was ordered with a color-matched dashboard and the larger stereo, which sounds very good. It is ready to drive with no immediate expenses. One of the gas struts in the tailgate has failed and needs to be replaced. The timing belt was replaced at 43,500 kilometers, but that was done in the summer of 2005.

The technical condition is excellent, and nothing needs to be addressed. All functions work flawlessly, and both the engine and gearbox feel like new. A very solid car.

Zustand Interieur
The interior of the car is like new, and we haven’t found anything to criticize. The color-matched dashboard looks great. The door panels, headliner, and seat cushions are in fantastic condition.

The body is in excellent condition, with clean, straight lines and only minimal small scratches. The windshield has a small crack along the bottom on the driver's side, which was professionally repaired about 20 years ago. All other windows, as well as the trim and light lenses, are also in great condition. The car is completely rust-free.

Overall, the car is in very good condition for regular use. Very few signs of gentle use can be detected, but nothing more than that.

Pga flytt från hus till lägenhet och sparsamt med plats måste denna fina bil gå vidare till ny ägare. Bilen är mycket väl omhändertagen och aldrig vinterkörd i min ägo. Vi har använt den sköna sommardagar som fin-åkar-bil i närliggande trakter.
Fakten zum Modell
The 850 was the first Swedish passenger car from Volvo to feature a transverse-mounted five-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive. Many were skeptical about whether this slightly sportier, more luxurious, and advanced Volvo would have the same durability as previous models. This criticism has largely proven to be unfounded, as quite a few 850s with over 400,000 kilometers on the odometer are still on the road today. During the development of the model, a lot of time was spent on details, such as the characteristic engine sound and the door closing mechanism.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
