The car was originally sold new in the Karlstad district to the first owner, who only drove it locally and kept it in his garage. He didn't believe Ford's anti-corrosion assurances, so he used extra Dinirol rust protection from the start. With his forethought in rust protection and careful usage, he has kept the car in what can only be described as near-new condition today. The owner died in 1983, and his wife acquired the car, which she barely drove until she died in 1994, and her daughter has owned it ever since. Her and her husband are avid car enthusiasts, and they recognized that the car was one-of-a-kind, so they carefully preserved it and kept it working, but they had only driven it 183 kilometers since 2006. The car comes with a lot of paperwork, including the original bill of sale, sales brochures, service book, and previous inspection reports.

Zustand technisch
It starts easily and drives smoothly, with no unusual noises or leaks. The brakes are a little soft, but I only driven a few kilometers every year.

Zustand Interieur
The interior is 100% original and very clean and tidy, with somewhat loose fabric on the seats, which is completely normal on these cars. Everything is complete, and the headliner is clean.

Zustand Exterieur
The paintwork is fully original and has never been damaged in any way. The underbody, bootspace, and engine compartment are all solid and clean. Small ding on the hood, discolored chrome plastic trim on the rear window (see photos). The bodywork is straight, and I never expected to say "rust free" on an old Ford, but it is.

Its a total time capsule with excellent owner history, documentation, low mileage and in excellent condition. Its perfect for a Ford collector or just someone looking to relive your youth.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
