It came to Sweden from Holland in May 2020. A couple of Alfa-enthusiast owners followed before the current owner took over earlier this year. A rarer model in Sweden, and the well-equipped Quadrifoglio Oro model was never sold here. The documentation and history consist of some receipts from Holland. The last passed inspection was carried out on 2022-09-28, meaning the car is currently uninspected.

Zustand technisch
Mechanically and technically, everything feels good. A typically fun-to-drive machine from the brand, in need of a valve clearance adjustment. Interestingly, the car has a variable camshaft on the intake side – Alfa was first with that technology and somewhat ahead of its time.

Zustand Interieur
Well-preserved and beautiful interior with a fresh feel. Nice headliner, door panels, and carpets. The power windows work sporadically or not at all. In need of attention.

For the most part, it appears to have a nice original paint finish. Only some substandard repairs/fixes at the C-pillars at the rear. A previous owner refurbished the wheels and fitted Hankook Laufenn tires from 2018. The underside also looks good.

Fakten zum Modell
When the Alfetta was introduced in 1972, it shook up the automotive world with its advanced transaxle design, in which the engine was mounted up front while the gearbox, clutch, and differential had been moved to the rear axle to achieve a perfect 50/50 weight distribution. Together with a De Dion-type rear suspension, this gave the model exceptionally balanced and sporty handling characteristics that came to define the brand's sedans for more than a decade. Alfa Romeo was also the first in the world to introduce variable valve timing (VVT / variatore di fase) in a series-production car. The variable camshaft was introduced on the European market in 1983 on the luxury model Alfetta 2.0 Quadrifoglio Oro. This car was equipped with Alfa's electronic fuel injection system Bosch Motronic (ML2.1 / CEM) and produced 130 hp. The regular carbureted versions of the Alfetta 2.0 from 1983 generally lacked this system; it did not appear on the carbureted engines until later, on the successor Alfa 75.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
