Teknische Daten
Beurteilung Fahrzeugzustand
-
Zustand technisch
There is really nothing to criticize on the technical side. Everything works flawlessly on the car. The engine runs quietly and smoothly, and the gearbox feels impressively tight, in true Alfa fashion. The condition of the car suggests that the mileage is accurate, though it cannot be guaranteed.
-
Zustand Interieur
Fine leather, nice panels, and door sides. The carpets are also in good condition, though in one or two places they may need to be glued down. The black convertible top is relatively new and in good condition. According to the owner, there are no leaks.
-
Zustand Exterieur
Very nice paint, though with a few stone chips that can be touched up with a pen. It’s difficult to determine if the car has been repainted. Upon inspection, we haven’t found any visible signs of this. The tires, trim, and glass are all in good condition.
-
Zustand gesamt
A very positive overall impression with this car. Stylish classic color combination.

Fakten zum Modell
The Spider underwent several revisions and updates throughout its production. In many parts of the world, even the later models without the “round rear end” earned the nickname “Duetto,” despite the design changes.
The word “Spider” comes, like many body-related terms, from the early 20th century. It was a word that traveled from England to America and then back to Europe. The Italians, in particular, took a liking to the term “Spider.”
In the 1967 film The Graduate, the main character, played by Dustin Hoffman, drives a Series 1 Spider. This model is often called the “Duetto,” “Osso di Seppia” (cuttlefish bone), or sometimes “Round-tail.”
The Spider was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show on March 10, 1966, featuring a long, rounded rear. It was nicknamed the “Duetto,” but there was no such emblem or badge on the car, as it was officially named the Alfa Romeo Spider 1600.
