Beschreibung
The car appears to have followed its first owner back to Sweden in 2002, where it was officially registered in June 2002 and then sold to its next owner in July 2002. That owner kept the car until 2023 and seems to have been a true car collector — the Maserati was inspected just twice during his 21-year ownership: first in 2004 with 90,600 km and again in 2021 with 91,330 km, meaning it was driven only about 700 km in over two decades.
The current owner purchased the car in 2023 and carried out a thorough recommissioning, including:
New timing belt
Complete brake overhaul with new pipes, pads, and rebuilt calipers
New clutch master and slave cylinders and clutch replacement
Fresh engine and gearbox oils, spark plugs, and full service
Replacement of aged rubber hoses, electrical components, and other wear items in the engine bay
A new inspection was completed in May 2025, and the car is now approved until April 2027.
What makes this example truly special is its exceptionally low mileage — just 92,109 km, verified by the service records — and the fact that it has been properly stored indoors throughout its life, showing no signs of rust. The paintwork appears to be original and still presents with a deep, attractive finish.
An interesting detail: when new in the late 1980s, this Maserati cost the equivalent of three brand-new Volvo 740s or four Volkswagen Golfs — a clear sign of just how exclusive it was at the time.
This is an ideal choice for a collector or Maserati enthusiast looking for a rare, well-preserved Biturbo (E) Si Black with proven history and careful long-term ownership.

Beurteilung Fahrzeugzustand
-
Zustand technisch
On the test drive, the car performed very well. The engine starts immediately and runs smoothly, while the car feels stable and composed on the road. The dogleg gearbox shifts nicely, and the brakes are strong and reassuring.
The engine bay is well kept, recently serviced, and the car has just passed a new inspection without any remarks. Power comes from the AM453 V6, and it sits on alloy wheels in great condition with good tires. An alloy spare wheel is included in the boot, along with the original Maserati tool kit. -
Zustand Interieur
Interior is a lavish blend of leather and Alcantara, with seats in good condition, showing only light wear and a small mark on the passenger seat. The door cards, carpets, and headliner all present nicely. The dashboard combines leather, Alcantara, and elegant wood trim, featuring a gold Maserati clock in the center. There are no damages, only slight varnish discoloration on the trim near the glove box.
The front electric windows work, and all instruments function correctly — with no pixelation in the displays and no warning lights illuminated while driving. -
Zustand Exterieur
The bodywork is straight with good panel gaps and shows no signs of damage or rust, while the underbody is clean and undamaged. The paintwork presents very well in the striking black and grey color combination, remaining bright and tidy with no noticeable flaws. Both the plastic bumpers and exterior detailing are in good condition, and it is clear that the car has hardly ever been driven during the winter months.

You’re buying a car with well-documented history, original low mileage, and the added appeal of being a very rare model — something truly special and fun to drive. It also represents excellent value for money, priced on par with a hot hatch like a Golf GTI yet offering far more performance, style, and exclusivity.
