Beschreibung

The car has been off the road since the early 1980s, stored in a small uninsulated garage with concrete walls and ceiling and a gravel floor. It has extensive surface rust but no major visible rust damage to the body. However, the bumpers are heavily corroded, as are parts of the lower textile interior. The rest of the interior is in good condition considering the car’s age. There's a small tear in the fabric headliner. The dashboard is in nice shape and the seats appear intact.

Some functions can't be tested, as the car is in a tight space and partially sunken into the floor, with flat tires. The battery is still under the rear seat and shows visible damage, likely causing rust in the body underneath. The ignition key is still in the ignition but won’t budge.

The engine and engine bay appear to be in good condition, and there is oil in the engine. The area below the fuel tank is intact. The car has been in the same family since new, but no documentation is available. The odometer reads 24,000 km, but it may have rolled over once.

Beurteilung Fahrzeugzustand

  • Zustand Interieur:

    The headliner is in relatively good condition, with a small tear above the right door pillar. The upholstery and seats are surprisingly well-preserved, and the protective covers have likely been in place since the car was new. Unfortunately, the battery has remained in place since the car was stored, which has caused rust damage underneath it.
    The dashboard and steering wheel are in good condition.

  • Zustand Exterieur:

    Surface rust present. The car’s original color is blue, but it's dusty and the paint appears very dull according to the photos.

    A project that can be saved by a skilled and dedicated enthusiast.

The car has an interesting history, having remained on the same property since it was purchased new in Östersund. It was used sparingly until sometime in the 1980s, after which it was taken off the road. Unfortunately, no documentation is available.

  • At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
  • During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
  • Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
  • When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
  • If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
  • If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
  • Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
  • For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
