A charming driving log from the 1970s offers an interesting insight for those who enjoy such details. Following the entries in the log and the owner’s stories, it’s likely the car has not traveled more than the current odometer reading of 89,000 km.
The engine needing replacement after just 13,000 km might seem unusual today, but it was not uncommon back then. The car has been stored in a cold garage for the past 15 years. It has recently been started but requires an oil change and brake overhaul before inspection.
The original license plate issued before 1973 from the Stockholm area is included. The last approved inspection was carried out on August 6, 2009.

Zustand technisch
Started after 15 years of inactivity, the engine fires up easily and quickly and runs well, paired with a good gearbox. The brakes need a complete overhaul, although the parking brake engages and releases properly. One of the front drums has a loose brake shoe rattling inside, causing noise when the car rolls. The engine (correct series and year) was reportedly replaced at a dealership when the current owner bought the car from his mother in 1964. The turn signals work but need some attention to improve—they’ll likely benefit from lubrication and some gentle movement.

Zustand Interieur
Original interior with a naturally aged patina that many find appealing. A couple of seams need repair, and the vinyl would benefit from cleaning and care to preserve it for the future. Door panels, the headliner with the sunroof, and the area behind the rear seats are all nice, clean, and free of moisture stains. The headliner has been replaced.

Zustand Exterieur
Repainted in the original color at some point, and since then the paint has developed a charming patina. The sunroof is intact and clean both inside and out, and opens and closes smoothly. Nice floor pan, underbody, and running boards. Equipped with older bias-ply tires and attractive original hubcaps. The front bumper shows some surface rust and has a slightly misaligned mounting.

Beautifully patinated with an excellent history and easy to get back on the road. It’s honestly quite attractive as it is, with all the years of current ownership reflected in its condition.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
