• Zustand technisch

  It was originally delivered by Philipssons in Halmstad in December 1980. The first owner was Hallandspostens Tidningstryckeri AB (Hallandsposten Newspaper Printing), and barely two years later, the printing press was sold, and the owner purchased the car privately. He continued to drive it until 2016 when his wife inherited the Merc. Their daughter was also involved in caring for the car, with detailed notes from her about expenses, including fuel costs. A small driving log provides a nice history of the car. The most recent inspection was done on October 22, 2023. The current owner had other plans for this fine Halland-sold Mercedes 280 SE, but now there are plans instead for a new house and other things.

• Zustand Interieur

  Fine plush upholstery of well-known and beloved quality, the front seats have been protected by seat covers. The wood inserts on the dashboard complement a generally high-quality interior feel. The headliner is in excellent condition, and the power functions for the sunroof and side windows work flawlessly.

• Zustand Exterieur

  Nice, and as it appears, original paint. Some small blisters on the left front fender edge. Original steel rims and hubcaps with older budget tires of M+S type. Slight discoloration on a so-called Sacco panel, left rear. White turn signal inserts are included if desired.

• Zustand gesamt

  A solid overall impression, both in documentation and condition. Sensible, presentable, and user-friendly example with a high utility value as a summer enthusiast car.

• At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
• During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
