It was a luxurious car. Sports model with four-speed gearbox and overdrive. It was owned by the Salmson family until 2013. Four owners in total but in practice only two owners who didn’t put many miles on the clock. The meter reading of just over 110,000 km seems correct with its condition.
The owner has done some research and it seems that only 199 B16 cars with overdrive were built.

Zustand technisch
With four gears and overdrive, this car runs very quietly and comfortably. The electrics are managed by a six-volt alternator (original direct current is available) Furthermore, some niceties have been installed such as a 12-volt converter. It gives a little extra push to the overdrive and the hidden electric power steering.
The engine and the M41 box can be said to do the job exemplarily well. -
Zustand Interieur
On the inside, the car is very nice and very well kept. By all accounts, the upholstery and carpets are original. A centre console has been fitted for practical reasons. The boot is nice and untouched. Also very nice under the carpet and spare wheel tray.

Zustand Exterieur
Stylish in slate blue, repainted about 30 years ago but the colour may not be 100% original. Overall nice with a few small imperfections, some small paint runs and some blistering. What has been done with the paintwork is to preserve the original joints in the body. There is a slight hint of incipient rust in some wing edges and at the front part towards the bumper, but nothing to directly comment on at all.
Very nice chrome and normal aged condition on other trims and handles. -
Zustand gesamt
A very good overall impression - low mileage and the right equipment makes this a very nice car in every way.

For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
