The renovation of this KS50 was initiated by a very well-known figure in Ljungby. Known for his expertise and collections of vintage mopeds amongst other things. The current owner has completed the renovation including repainting and detail finishing. Restored to original condition except for a five-and-a-half fitted. The sought-after model with the "Swedish" tank ensures lasting and increasing value on this KS. Renovated with respect for the original with new or restored parts. New books are available for further documentation.

Fakten zum Modell
Zündapp was a German motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1917. The KS50 was introduced as a lightweight, sporty moped/motorcycle in Zündapp's KS series, which targeted the growing market for 50cc machines.
The KS50 was launched in the 1950s and developed throughout the 1960s with improved engines and chassis. It was built around a 49cc two-stroke engine and came in several variants for both everyday riding and sportier use.
During the 1970s, the KS50 was one of Zündapp's most well-known 50cc models, in fierce competition with Kreidler, Puch and Sachs. The model received technical updates and was available in several versions (for example, more sport-oriented and more practical variants).
Zündapp suffered economic difficulties and wound down its motorcycle production in the early 1980s; the company went bankrupt in 1984. Production of classic KS50 models ceased under the company's own operation.
The KS50 has a strong cult status among collectors and enthusiast clubs. Many examples are still preserved and restored, and the model is regarded as a symbolic example of the post-war 50cc scene in Europe.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
