The current odometer reading shows 3,345 Swedish miles. According to information in the service book, the speedometer/combined instrument was replaced with a completely new one at 1,500 miles in 2006. The correct odometer reading should therefore be 3,345 miles plus 1,500 miles. In total, 4,845 miles. This is something we cannot guarantee, however we have not found anything that contradicts this information.
The car comes with 2 sets of keys, instruction manual, inspection report, service notes and a spare wheel.
This is a distance auction. The images and information about the vehicle and its technical status have been obtained from the owner. BWA has therefore not inspected the car on site at the seller's.

Zustand technisch
Equipped with a 4.0-litre aluminium V8 engine producing 284 bhp and a five-speed automatic gearbox. The engine received upgraded timing chain tensioners in 2019. The latest service was carried out in 2024, and since then the car has covered only 1,750 km. A new starter battery was fitted in 2026.

Zustand Interieur
Fine interior trim. The clear coat on the instrument panel wood trim can be perceived as somewhat dull. This is reportedly a common phenomenon on the 2001 model year XK8. The headliner appears to have come loose from the adhesive in a few places, at the A-pillars and at the rear of the headliner at the rear window. See pictures.
All electrical equipment functions, except for the tachometer and the automatic adjustment of the headrest. When the front seat is folded forward to enter the rear seat, the headrest should normally fold down. The car stereo has a cassette player and CD changer. Well-functioning air conditioning that blows ice cold. -
Zustand Exterieur
Straight and fine bodywork. The paintwork is mainly original. The front and left front fender have been repainted due to a previous parking damage, but there is hardly any colour deviation visible. There are a few minor stone chips on the front. New tyres were fitted in 2018.

- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
