The car has had several owners throughout its life and is believed to have been renovated around 15 years ago. The current owner acquired it as part of a vehicle exchange in March this year. A long-time classic car enthusiast with several vehicles in his collection, he has owned a number of DS models over the years. The sale is purely due to the need for additional garage space.
Over the past few months the car has been driven locally and is in good mechanical running condition. It presents well inside and out, with its attractive colour combination making it particularly eye-catching. There are signs of older welding repairs to the underbody and sills, which is not unusual, as most DS models from the 1970s were prone to corrosion and required repairs during their lifetime. As a result, relatively few have survived and they are becoming increasingly uncommon on the market. The odometer currently shows 98,765 km. However, as no previous documentation accompanies the car, the actual mileage cannot be verified and may be 198,765 km or higher.

The car starts easily and the DX2 2.0-litre engine runs smoothly. The rack-and-pinion steering is light and precise, the 5-speed gearbox shifts well, and the brakes inspire confidence. The hydropneumatic suspension operates correctly in all settings, giving the DS its renowned ride quality. Fitted with steel wheels, chrome hubcaps and a good set of older tyres. Inspection exempt and ready to be enjoyed immediately.

Zustand Interieur
Blue and white interior presents well and is clean and tidy throughout. The seats are in good condition, complemented by good door cards, trim panels and headliner. There is some slight loose material on the trim panel by the rear window. The dashboard is complete and undamaged, retaining its original gauges, while a modern radio has been discreetly fitted. The interior is believed to have been renovated some years ago.

Zustand Exterieur
A presentable and attractive car with no major rust issues visible on the bodywork. There is a slight dent on the edge of the front wing by the driver's door and another small dent on the lower front valance on the driver's side. The paintwork remains bright and presentable, showing only a few minor marks and scratches consistent with age.
The underbody, boot floor, sills and door edges show evidence of older welding repairs, as expected on a DS of this age. Some light surface rust pitting and a small rust hole are present along the lower door edges and around the boot lid. -

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
