Beschreibung
The main cosmetic issues are rust around the rear wheel arches and on the left front fender—an unfortunately common issue on the Saab 9-3. A comprehensive folder of documentation accompanies the car, and it most recently passed its roadworthiness inspection in July 2025.
Teknische Daten
Beurteilung Fahrzeugzustand
-
Zustand technisch
Mechanically, the car is in excellent condition. The engine pulls strongly and feels healthy throughout the rev range. The Stage 1 ECU tune provides a noticeable increase in performance, delivering smooth and responsive acceleration. All electrical and mechanical equipment is functioning properly, and the air conditioning blows cold as it should.
The car is fitted with new tires from 2024 mounted on attractive Aero alloy wheels. It also comes with two keys, both with fully functional remote controls. -
Zustand Interieur
The interior is in excellent condition, with virtually nothing to remark upon—showing only the lightest signs of normal use. It is genuinely impressive how well the cabin has been preserved, especially considering the car's high mileage.
-
Zustand Exterieur
The common rust issue that affects many Saab 9-3s is also present on this example, with corrosion visible around the rear wheel arches and the left front fender. Aside from this, the car presents well, with glossy paintwork, clear headlights and glass, well-preserved exterior trim, and alloy wheels in good condition.
-
Zustand gesamt
An exceptionally well-preserved car that makes a remarkably strong overall impression. The only real disappointment is the rust. You could simply continue to enjoy the car as it is while maintaining it to the same high standard as its previous owner, and it should provide many more miles of reliable service. Alternatively, replacing the affected wheel arch sections and refinishing the repaired areas would restore the bodywork to match the car's otherwise excellent condition.

Fakten zum Modell
In 2011, the Saab 9-3 was one of the brand's most important models. It was available as a Sedan, SportCombi (wagon), and Convertible, with a range of turbocharged engines that combined strong performance with relatively low fuel consumption. The model was widely praised for its distinctive Scandinavian design, comfortable interior, and outstanding safety credentials.
At the same time, Saab was facing severe financial difficulties. These culminated in the company's bankruptcy in December 2011, bringing production of the 9-3 to an end and marking the close of one of Sweden's most iconic automotive manufacturers. As one of the final model years produced under Saab Automobile, the 2011 9-3 represents the end of an era and has become increasingly appreciated by Saab enthusiasts.
