The current owner purchased the car around 18 months ago and has used it mainly as a summer car, covering only around 1,000 km. The sale is simply due to the purchase of a newer model. During his ownership, the fuel pump has been replaced, new tyres fitted, the brakes serviced, and the car has recently received an oil and filter service.
The car comes with a comprehensive service history from Denmark up until 2014 and was last inspected without any remarks. The inspection is valid until 2026-12-31.
A common question with these models concerns the Airmatic suspension. On this car, the system operates correctly in all settings and maintains pressure while driving. After being parked for a couple of days, however, the car slowly lowers itself, which is not uncommon on these older models.
The good news is that replacement parts are readily available, and several reputable third-party suppliers now offer components at a fraction of the prices charged by Mercedes-Benz.

Zustand technisch
The car starts immediately, and the V8 engine runs smoothly and quietly. It is effortless to drive, with the 7-speed automatic gearbox shifting seamlessly, good road holding, strong brakes, and no warning lights displayed while driving. The engine bay is clean, with the only minor cosmetic point being a missing fuse box cover.
It sits on a smart set of alloy wheels with just a few small age-related marks and is fitted with newer tyres. No winter wheels are included. Inspected until 2026-12-31, this luxurious V8 is ready to be driven home and enjoyed. -
Zustand Interieur
Interior is clean and tidy, featuring well-kept black leather seats with no damage, only minor age-related wear. The door cards, trim panels, headlining, and carpets are all in nice condition. The dashboard is free from damage, and all gauges and instrumentation are fully functional, apart from the exterior temperature sensor, which is faulty.
The electric seats, including the massage function, along with the electric windows, mirrors, and sunroof, all operate correctly. The infotainment system, radio, and GPS function as they should, and the air conditioning blows ice cold. -
Zustand Exterieur
The car presents itself well overall. The bodywork is straight, with just two small, soft dents – one on the front passenger door near the hinge and another in the centre of the left rear door. There are no serious rust issues, only a few small spots around the inner edges of the wings caused by stone chips and around the lower inner corners of the doors (see pictures). The underbody is clean and free from damage or any significant corrosion.
The paintwork remains bright and tidy, showing only a few minor marks and scratches (see pictures). A simple machine polish would further enhance its appearance. -
Zustand gesamt
A future classic in the making, this is a fun and rewarding car to drive, combining superb luxury with a powerful V8 under the bonnet. It offers an incredible amount of car for very little money and is ready to be driven home and enjoyed immediately.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
