Several doors were replaced and repainted in the original color "Rose Quartz"—a subtle pink hue in the gray metallic finish. Slight color variations may be noticeable under certain lighting. The interior is very well-preserved, upholstered in Saab’s durable velour fabric, and both front and rear seats offer solid comfort.
The turbocharged engine responds well to throttle input, and there are no unusual noises from the engine, turbo, or drivetrain. The car was originally delivered with a factory-installed Ericsson phone, still mounted between the front seats. See photo. While the NMT 450 network is no longer in use, the phone remains as a nostalgic detail.
The vehicle comes with complete documentation, including inspection records, service history, and a driving log. The instrument cluster has been replaced, but inspection records confirm that the car has covered approximately 300,000 km. Spare keys and a full set of original tools are also included.

Zustand technisch
The engine and the rest of the drivetrain are in good working order, and the engine still delivers strong performance. The CV joint boots have been replaced. The brakes have been recently refurbished and function flawlessly. All lights and instruments are working properly. The automatic antenna, however, does not extend fully.

Zustand Interieur
Attractive dark red fabric upholstery with a clean and intact white headliner. The original carpets are still in place, showing natural wear. The seats and rear bench are clean and undamaged. The backrest of the driver’s seat has been professionally repaired—see photo.
A distinguishing feature of this model year is the fabric-covered storage pockets on the inside of the doors, which are in good condition—see photo. The dashboard is clean and intact, with all controls and instruments functioning.
The AC has not been serviced and is currently not working. It’s unclear whether it was functional before the car was taken out of use. -
Zustand Exterieur
The car shows no visible rust damage apart from a small area of corrosion on the left front jacking point. Minor scratches and small dents are present, consistent with normal wear. Some color variation in the paint can be seen on repainted panels. A distinctive detail for this model year is the uniquely shaped rear spoiler, as shown in the photo.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
