As mentioned, the car has recently undergone significant and costly service work, focusing on maintaining it in a sound mechanical condition and ensuring it is usable without issues. There were no issues reported during the test drive; the car drives well. It also has good alloy wheels with a few marks and good tires.

Zustand Interieur
The interior is in good condition considering its age and mileage. The front seats have been recolored due to scratches and look decent, while the rear seats and door cards have some age-related marks and scratches. The headliner and carpet show slight marks and some sun bleaching. The dashboard and instrumentation are in good condition, with working gauges and electronics. Overall, there are no major issues with the interior.

Zustand Exterieur
The bodywork is straight and undamaged but has some rust blisters in various places, mainly around the lower panels, wheel arches, boot panel, bonnet, inner sunroof, and doors (see pictures). The underbody primarily has surface rust, with nothing major, and there is a small dent on the fuel tank (see pictures). The paintwork is generally clean, and the car presents well, but upon closer inspection, these issues become apparent. The front lower bumper valance needs refitting.

Zustand gesamt
The owner has invested a significant amount of work, money, and time into ensuring the car runs and drives well. Although the next step would be to address the bodywork, the owner has already started another Saab project. You can enjoy the car as it is for the summer, but the bodywork will eventually need attention.

Fakten zum Modell
Saab 9000 CD blev inte någon riktig storsäljare, men bidrog till att bredda Saabs modellutbud. Den riktade sig delvis till en för ny målgrupp som annars i första hand hade haft ögonen på sedaner från Mercedes, Audi, BMW och inte minst Volvo.
Bilens totalläng var 4,78 meter, ungefär 16 centimeter längre än vanliga 9000. Som årsmodell 1995 fick 9000 CD samma låga från som CS-modellen.
Hur förkortningen CD ska utläsas är oklart, men olika förklaringar har förekommit som Combi Design, Classic Design eller Courier Diplomatique.
Enligt webbplatsen car.info finns det idag 2.158 registrerade Saab 9000 CD i Sverige. Det gör CD-modellen till den ovanligaste av Saab 9000-varianterna.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
