  The car starts easily, purrs smoothly, the gearbox shifts softly, and the brakes engage properly. The current owner recently installed a new brake servo. He also felt that the car sat too low at the rear and fitted a missing transverse spring in its original mounts on the rear axle. Originally, there likely was a hydropneumatic unit, an additional feature instead of the spring known as the Hydropneumatic Compensator. It’s not uncommon to replace these with the simpler spring setup. Additionally, the owner added rubber spacers to the standard coil springs at the rear. As a result, the car now has a slight wheel camber in the rear suspension, but removing the rubber spacers would likely restore its stance to be precise and aesthetically pleasing.

• Zustand Interieur

  The interior features a stylish, nicely worn dark red leather upholstery with some stitching that needs attention. The headliner is in good condition with a sunroof. There are additional controls on a custom-made console for features like intermittent wipers and extra electric cooling fans. The original carpets have a worn patina; ideally, the car deserves a new floor carpet in its original material.

• Zustand Exterieur

  Repainted from a bare metal body in 2016, and there is a slight color variation noticeable between the left door and the front/rear fenders. Nice chromework and the older tyres on its original steel rims have good tread. The electric sunroof requires a little manual assistance when opening and closing; lubricating the cable would be beneficial.

• Zustand gesamt

  Functional and representative with some cosmetic improvements to be made. It feels and appears mechanically reliable, likely not shying away from long trips and the general impression is a user friendly condition.

When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
