The renovation began with a complete strip-down to bare metal, addressing minor rust repairs in the floor. The bodywork was meticulously prepped, receiving a thorough epoxy paint sealant before being restored to its original white paint color. The engine, while initially displaying good compression, underwent a comprehensive review with the replacement of worn components, including main seals, gaskets, electrical systems, clutch, fuel system, exhaust system, rubber hoses, carburetor, and brakes. The engine was also given a fresh coat of paint. The gearbox was reviewed and found to be in good working order.
Throughout the renovation process, the car was outfitted with new rubber seals, windscreen, and chrome side trims. The interior, which was in decent original condition, received an upgrade with the installation of a new replacement rubber dashboard panel.
This meticulous renovation was completed three years ago, and the car successfully passed its final inspection in 2020, granting it a permanent exemption from future inspections. With this car, you can simply turn the key and drive without any concerns. It has served as a summer family car and has graced local car shows, but it is now being offered for sale to fund the owner's next project.
The vehicle comes with a comprehensive set of receipts documenting the work done during the renovation, as well as its original handbook. The mileage is estimated to be around 182,000 km, although there is no confirmed historical record to verify this.

The interior largely maintains its originality, with the exception of a new rubber dashboard cover and fresh carpets. The seats, for the most part, are in good and clean condition, albeit with a minor repair on the driver's seat side panel and a slight softening on the driver's seat side cushion. The dashboard presents itself nicely with clean and functional gauges, while the headliner and door cards are tidy and well-preserved.
Turning our attention to the boot area, it's notably clean, dry, and devoid of any rust or damage, providing a reassuring storage space. Additionally, it comes equipped with a tool kit and a spare wheel, adding to the car's practicality. -
Zustand Exterieur
The car's bodywork is in excellent condition, featuring well-fitted body panels and precise shutlines. The original panel pressing lines on the sills and upper rear wings remain intact, without any body filler, as shown in the pictures.
The paintwork is vibrant and clean, with no signs of rust or damage. The chrome accents all around are well-maintained. There are a few minor issues, such as underseal causing paint leakage on the lower rear driver-side wing, a paint crack on the upper rear driver-side wing from a chemical spill during window fitting, and a small mark on the front edge of the driver-side wing near the door, as seen in the pictures. These issues are easy to address and not immediate concerns. -

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
