"The car is worn but complete, good renovation or rat rod project or just a spare parts car. The engine does not turn over by hand. The car has fallen out of the car register but with the help of the old registration number the car can be re-registered again."

The Morris Six MS is a six-cylinder luxury car produced by Morris between 1948 and 1953. In 1948, Morris presented a whole series of new postwar cars. The biggest model was the six-cylinder Six MS. The shared body work and technology with the smaller Morris Oxford and the more luxurious Wolseley 6/80. The car was completely modern, with self-supporting body work and individual front suspension with torsion rods. The engine had an overhead camshaft but, unlike Wolseley, had to settle for a simple carburetor. Production ceased in March 1953, after 12,400 copies.
This car has been rescued in a dry garage in the Kalmar area since the 1970s. It has been owned by a now deceased car enthusiast who drove it for 10 years from the late 1960s and then garaged it for future renovation work. The car looks good underneath and technical details seem ok but brakes don't work and the engine doesn't go around. We have had a mechanic pour oil into the cylinders to make them free so that the test start can be carried out.

  • Zustand technisch:

The car has not been driven for more than 40 years. Will need a technical review. The engine is not turning around, Bad tires, Battery missing and Brakes do not work.

  • Zustand Interieur:

Light traces of use and dusty but complete. Nice dashboard. See pictures.

  • Zustand Exterieur:

Worn with dents and repair work but has a good underbody.

  • Zustand gesamt:

Sold as a spare parts car but can be started with some spanner time, its unusual model. There are plenty of spare parts to be found in England.
