According to the current owner, the car has only been used during the summer months and has been stored in a garage for the remainder of the year throughout his ownership. The Honda has avoided winter conditions, meaning it has been spared from road salt and other seasonal wear during his time with the car. These models were often prone to rust, and there are not many left on the roads today.
The owner states that the oil and filters have been changed before every season since he purchased the car, and it has consistently received the service and care needed to remain in good, usable condition. Last season, a minor paint scratch was professionally repaired.

Zustand technisch
Runs well with a strong engine and drivetrain. The brakes operate smoothly and evenly. The car is equipped with functioning front and rear cameras.
The tailgate gas struts are worn and no longer able to hold the hatch open. The rear window wiper arm is missing. The car is also fitted with a subwoofer, though it is currently not working. -

The interior condition reflects approximately 250,000 km of use, during which the car has been well cared for and maintained. There is a hole in the driver’s seat upholstery — see photo.
The luggage compartment has been fitted with sound-deadening material — see photos. -

The paint is in normal condition considering the car’s age and mileage — not new, but not poor either.
There is rust, or possibly minor damage, on the sunroof (see photo), and it does not sit completely flush with the roof at the corners (see photo). The trim around the windshield and the right rear window is slightly damaged (see photos). -

Fakten zum Modell
The Honda CR-X underwent a complete redesign in late 1987 for the 1988 model year. The wheelbase increased by 10 cm, and the overall length grew by 81 mm. The width was nearly 51 mm greater than the previous model.
The suspension was completely re-engineered. Honda abandoned the previous front torsion bar setup and rear solid axle with trailing links in favor of a four-wheel double wishbone suspension. The larger construction and revised suspension provided improved handling characteristics as well as more space for both passengers and luggage compared to the previous generation.
The CR-X also received a minor update for the 1990 model year. Models equipped with VTEC were given a more extensive refresh, including updated bumpers, lights, hood, brakes, suspension, and instrument panel, among other changes. Some of these design updates were also introduced on contemporary non-VTEC models.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
