Beschreibung
During the war years, it was used by the Swedish Armed Forces. After the war, it was sold to Duvedals Brickworks in Kalvsvik, outside Växjö. In the summer, it transported bricks and clay, while in winter, it was used for hauling firewood. By 1950, the company deemed the truck to have served its time, and it was left abandoned on a bog.
There it remained until 1986, when John Åke Franzén took it under his care. The truck was completely disassembled, and the restoration took two years. It was an impressive feat to bring the vehicle back to this remarkable condition, as many parts were missing and had to be sourced or fabricated.
In 1988, it was re-registered, and a major feature about the truck was published in Classic Motor’s Album #No:10. It has been used only sparingly over the years, and today, 35 years after its restoration, it remains just as stunning as when it was completed.
