Everything appears to be in working order, and the nearly 60-year-old car wears its age with dignity. Extra rubber mats, as well as the original instruction book, service manual, and documentation, are included. There are also a number of older inspection reports. The car has been inspectioned/MOTed and is ready to drive.

Everything works, and the car feels as stable and reliable as a nearly 60-year-old Amazon should. It starts easily, runs smoothly, and has strong brakes. The clutch should be checked since it can jam when downshifting at low speeds. The underbody has not been examined, but everything appears to be in good working shape and is reportedly unwelded.

Zustand Interieur
Interior is mostly complete and nice, however there is some noticeable wear. Headliner is in good condition. The dashboard is free of cracks, however there is a little gap between the speedometer and the gauges. The rubber mat at the gear lever boot are worn. A small amount of marks around the door steps.

Zustand Exterieur
A few years ago, it was professionally repainted in its original color. The front and rear windows were not removed while repainting. Glass and chrome are in good shape, with only minor dents and age wear in the bodywork. Good wheels and tires.

Zustand gesamt
A good and neat, well-functioning Amazon from the cheerful 1960s, in a nice color scheme, with an uncommon original accessory with differential brake. It's ready to drive away, but like with any classic, there's something to refine for those who desire it.

Fakten zum Modell
Design Jan Wilsgaard med lite italienska influenser och Volvos svar på den sk. pontonkarossen som blev signum för 50-talet. Tillverkad från 1956 till 1970, årsmodeller 1957-1970. Till årsmodell 1959 världens första serietillverkade bil med trepunktsbälte i fram som standard.
Den skottsäkra B18 motorn om 75 hkr kom till årsmodell 1962. Till årsmodell 1965 blev det en del förändringar med ny grill, nya stolar och inredning samt sk. hålfälgar och nya navkapslar.
När 70-talet var här fick Amazonen pensioneras efter 14 årsmodeller och 667.332 tillverkade enheter. Två, fyra eller fem dörrar och från standard versioner till Sport och GT versioner. En svensk ikon och motorhistorik.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
