This car was designed to be the fastest street car in northern Sweden. To achieve the target, a significant amount of money and time was spent. The car was driven to the inspection/MOT center after it was done to receive its verdict, and it was accepted. The average horsepower was about 800. The builder became tired and decided to sell the car in need of repair. When the car is renovated, the current owner has spoken with the builder, who suggests using parts from a 600 horse kit instead, so the car can be driven on the road.
This car defeated a Porsche with about 600 horsepower in a drag race. The cars lined up, the flag flew, and this Mitsubishi 3000 GT was the first to cross the finish line. Most possibly, the engine had too little fuel in one of the cylinders, causing a piston to break.

Fakten zum Modell
Mitsubishi 3000 GT tillverkades mellan 1990 och 2000. Detta exemplar är av den första generationen som byggdes 1990 till 1993. Den har en V6:a, med 24 ventiler och dubbla turboaggregat, på runt 280 hästar i standardutförande. För att kunna utnyttja all kraft på bästa sätt är den fyrhjulsdriven och har även en variant av fyrhjulstyrning som styr upp till 1,5 grader för att optimera snabb kurvtagning. I USA finns det färdiga reservdelssatser att köpa. De finns bl.a. i "600 hk eller 800 hk" satser. Detta exemplar har ett kit för uppskattningsvis 800 hk.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
