MGF Model F was the first entirely new MG model following the popular MGB from the 1960s. The MGF became a success and was produced for 25 years, from 1995 to 2011. It’s an affordable and enjoyable car that’s surprisingly comfortable to drive. This particular car has covered 6,000 kilometers this summer, including a trip to Italy, without any issues. It’s an unusually well-maintained and well-serviced example. Documentation and spare keys are available (see photo).
The car was imported from Germany to Sweden in 2002. A lady in Stockholm purchased it in 2004 and owned it until 2024, at which point it was traded in at a dealership. During her ownership, the car was always stored in a garage on Dalagatan in Stockholm and serviced at the same workshop. The vehicle features an alarm system and new tires. The body is intact and in excellent condition with a dark green metallic finish. The interior has beige leather upholstery with no damage. The overall condition reflects a well-maintained car with 100,000 kilometers on the clock.

Zustand technisch
Starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine is lively with 120 horsepower, the gearbox operates well, and the brakes are in good condition. There are no rattles or vibrations, and the car feels stable on the road.

In good condition and fully functional. The convertible top is easy to fold from the driver’s seat (manual operation). The leather upholstery is in good shape but could be further improved with leather cleaner.

No notable issues, but there is a minor scuff on the rear bumper corner (see photo) and a few stone chips and door dings on the right side (none are particularly noticeable).

An exceptionally well-preserved example. A great value car that offers plenty of driving pleasure and a true summer feeling when you lower the top.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
