The current owner purchased this car from a colleague who in turn had inherited it from his father and grandfather. It has now been restored to body condition and repainted. The car had been off the road since 1980 when a noise developed in the rear axle. This has now been rectified, and the Anglian has been re-inspected and returned to traffic. In addition to a full start-up service, for example the brake and clutch master cylinders have been replaced, as well as many other brake components. The carburettor has been serviced and the starter motor has been repaired. New tyres and windscreen etc.

The car has been thoroughly inspected and serviced mechanically to ensure it is safe and pleasant to use. Many wear parts have been replaced. The rear axle differential has been replaced with a better used unit. Examples of replaced parts include brake components, clutch master and slave cylinders, fuel pump, wheel bearings, exhaust parts, radiator hoses, battery, charging relay, etc. New tyres and windscreen.

A largely renovated and freshly serviced car in very good condition. We have not had it on a lift, but it appears to be in good condition underneath as well. The engine and transmission run well. The brakes operate smoothly and evenly during the test drive.

A De Luxe no less! The Anglia was manufactured from 1959-1967 in 1,004,737 examples, of which just under 130,000 were Estate/station wagons. The Ford Anglia, based on the 105E model, came in several different versions. They were available as 2-door saloon, 3-door station wagon, and as a van with covered sides. They were also available with two different engines, 997 cc and 1198 cc. This engine series was called the Kent. Ford's engine developer Alan Worters lived in the county of Kent and this fact is said to have given the engine its name. These engines were highly tunable and have been fitted to everything from ride-on lawnmowers to Formula 3 cars.
For many years, it and the Ford Cortina were very common workhorses in the English island together with BMC cars in various sizes. The standard model with its distinctively angled rear window was also common in Sweden during the 1960s. Like many other older cars, they were highly susceptible to rust.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
