Amazon has had an owner family between the years 1969-2021. The current owner bought the Amazon in 2021 and has had it repainted in its original colour. This is due to a dent om the right door.
Many trim bits are replaced both inside and outside the car. It has been given a new interior in red vinyl and a new carpet set has been added. The instrument panel vinyl has also been replaced. A NOS bumper from the 60s has been fitted.
During the renovation, the car received new inner wings as well as a secret switch that prevents the car from starting without being activated. The owner fixed the car, and he only drove it for around 1000 km after that. The Amazon has travelled approximately 170,000 kilometres (can be followed in the inspection protocols). The radio, speakers, and antenna are all included. There is a lot of documentation and driving records for the car.

Fakten zum Modell
Under 1960-talet var Amazon Volvos volymbil och en stor framgång på en rad exportmarknader. År 1966 lanserades Volvo 140 men Amazonen fortsatte att tillverkas fram till 1970. Som ett mer prisvärt alternativ och för att kompensera nedläggningen av PV544 1965 lanseras Volvo Amazon Favorit 1966. Favorit var en enklare och billigare variant av Amazon och togs ur produktion 1968. Under tillverkningsåren skedde en rad modifieringar (bland annat försvann tvålacksfärgen, baklyktorna ändrades, ny design av bagageluckehandtagen) av Amazonen men grundformen behölls under de 14 år som modellen tillverkades. Sammanlagt tillverkades 667 323 Amazoner mellan oktober 1956
och juli 1970.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
