This Opel has had three owners, two within the family that bought it new, and the current owner who has owned the car since 2011.
The car is in a fairly untouched original condition and has managed well to avoid rust. It is probably partially repainted earlier in its life. The Opel has not been used during the winter by the current owner and has been stored indoors in a garage. The odometer reading is 00396 km but the odometer has gone around a clock so the car has driven 100,039 km which seems to be in line with the condition of the car.
It has been rust-treated annually with Tektyl ??until it was discontinued in 1998 - 2006. The car has a stainless exhaust system and the oil was changed in the engine and automatic transmission in 2019. Fakten zum Modell
Totalt tillverkades 1276681 Rekord C vilket gör den till den mest framgångsrika Rekordmodellen. Den tillverkades som två och fyrdörrars sedan, två och fyrdörrars herrgårdsvagn, som skåpbil samt som tvådörrars hardtop coupé. Motoralternativen var rakfyrorna 1500, 1700, 1700 S, 1900 S samt fram till 1968 en rak sex cylindrig motor på 2,2 liter.
En variant av Rekord C var Rekord Sprint coupé med sportigare ratt och inredning samt en 1900 H-motor som tack vare de dubbla Weberförgasarna hade 106 hästkrafter att jämföra med 1900 S som hade 90 hästkrafter. Rekord Sprint hade också i likhet med Opel Commodore fembultade fälgar.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
