Nice colour combination with bright red paint (the original colour) and bright interior with a black convertible roof. All in nice, well-maintained used condition, without noticeable damage or scratches. The car has an older respray from the 1990s which has held up well. The interior is surprisingly complete and nice. The soft top looks like it was changed approximately 15 years ago. The car has been in a heated garage as there are no oxide spots on the chrome or aluminium, nor any visible rust damage on the bodywork.

Zustand technisch
The car starts easily. Good power in the engine and the automatic gearbox shifts nicely. The current owner has driven on long holiday trips from Gothenburg, to Karlskrona and then up to Stockholm and Enköping this summer. A trip of just over 1300 km without any complaints, everything works as it should. M.O.T in April 2022, without remarks.

Well-kept, nice interior. Leather upholstery, carpets and door sides, as well as the dashboard, are untouched and in good original condition.

Zustand Exterieur
Nice body, good fit on doors, hoods and bumpers etc. Small damage/scratch on one door and some repair on the edge at the back (see pictures), but nothing noticeable. Nice paint, nice chrome, good rubber strips and other details. Nice wheels of the slightly newer models with the same bodywork. Tyres have 50% tread left. You can see and feel that the car has only driven 130,000 km.

A nice example that is ready to use. Good documentation and spare keys are included. Good overall impression, both technically and in terms of appearance for an unrestored car that has travelled 130,000 km. Only driven in summer, which is why the car does not come with a hardtop.

107-generationen tillkom under en tid då de amerikanska myndigheterna kraftigt stärkte sina säkerhetskrav – vilket tvingade många av tillverkarna att ta i från tårna.
Hos Mercedes-Benz kallades 107 internt för pansarvagnen på grund av konstruktionen. Genom åren tillverkades SL med en rad motorer – både med sexor och V8.
SL fanns också som lyxcoupé och kallades då SLC och hade längre chassi än strikt tvåsitsiga cabriolet-versionen SL.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
