It has been extensively upgraded with a Volvo 240 1031 rear axle, Volvo 140 front suspension and a Volvo 240 brake servo. The latest rebuild has been done over the past 6 months, the owner invested considerable time and money, fitting new 1968 Camaro RS rear lights in place of the previous twin PV lamps and insulating the entire floor with 2 mm aluminium foil.
The newly built engine has been bored to 92.5 mm (approximately 2.15 litres) and features new pistons, a machined and balanced eight-bolt crankshaft, a lightened and balanced flywheel, E-cylinder head, NH6 camshaft, steel timing gears, twin 45 carburettors, a new clutch and pressure plate, new alternator, starter motor, fuel pump, aluminium radiator and a compact heater unit. The engine bay has been refinished in striking Candy Red.
The newly rebuilt engine starts easily, runs exceptionally well and has covered approximately 800 km since completion. It has only been roughly tuned, leaving further performance potential with a professional carburettor setup. A video of the engine being assembled and bench-tested by the YouTube channel Boråsarna is available. The owner estimates that around SEK 60,000–70,000, plus countless hours of labour, were invested in the engine and engine bay during the latest rebuild.

Zustand technisch
The engine starts immediately, idles smoothly and delivers plenty of power on the road. It feels stable and composed to drive, with direct steering, a smooth-shifting gearbox and solid brakes. The engine bay is exceptionally clean and has been refinished in striking Candy Apple Flake paint, presenting beautifully and reflecting the care that has gone into the car. A minor carburettor tune could potentially release a little more performance, although the engine already delivers more than enough power for enjoyable driving.
It is fitted with recently bought Mag alloy wheels, costing approximately SEK 12,000, and a good set of tyres. The car is inspection exempt and ready to be enjoyed straight away. -
Zustand Interieur
Interior is clean, tidy and tastefully customised, featuring bespoke "Lady in Red" seat covers and a custom four-seat configuration with individual front and rear seats. The door cards, interior panels and headliner are all in good condition. The original dashboard remains in place and is fitted with additional auxiliary gauges, while the wooden steering wheel complements the classic appearance.

Zustand Exterieur
A very presentable all-steel build with straight bodywork and no significant rust issues to report. The underbody is exceptionally clean, solid and undamaged, as shown in the photographs. The paintwork is bright and glossy, with a few touch-ups and minor blistering around the sills and the upper edges of the front wings (see photos). The front grille is custom-built, while the rear end and bumpers have also been tastefully modified to complete the car's unique appearance.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
