This is the desirable V8 model fitted with the 3-speed automatic transmission, trimmed in white leather and equipped with a period Zender body kit, including side skirts and a rear spoiler. At some stage, believed to be over 20 years ago, the car was repainted.
The last inspection was carried out in 2012. It remained in use for a few more years before being placed into storage. Following the owner's passing in 2022, the car was inherited by his stepdaughter. In late 2023, it was taken to a Mercedes specialist who overhauled the braking system, fitted new spark plugs, ignition leads and a new set of tyres. Unfortunately, the project then stalled and the car was left parked outside, where the paintwork developed cracks and some areas of rust.
After arriving at our depot, we carried out a mechanical review and the car is now running and driving. It requires a new battery and the V8 performs well, the 3-speed automatic gearbox shifts smoothly and the brakes operate correctly. Before returning to regular road use, the car will require a full service, mechanical inspection and its final roadworthiness inspection. The cosmetic paintwork defects and rust are visible and should be addressed over time, although the car can still be enjoyed as a usable classic in its current condition.

Zustand technisch
Starts easily and idles smoothly. On the road, the V8 performs well, while the 3-speed automatic gearbox shifts correctly and the brakes operate as they should. The battery will need replacing, as we used a separate battery during our test drive.
The car will benefit from a full service and mechanical review before returning to regular use and will require one final roadworthiness inspection to become inspection exempt. The ECU in the passenger footwell needs to be refitted in its correct position. The oil pressure gauge shows healthy pressure while driving. It is fitted with a set of BBS alloy wheels in good condition, showing only minor scuffs, and they are fitted with a good set of tyres. -
Zustand Interieur
The white leather interior is in good overall condition, with the front and rear seats free from major damage. There are a few rust marks on the seat bases from the seat frames when tilted. The headlining, carpets, door cards and trim are all in good condition and would benefit from a thorough clean and leather reconditioning.
The dashboard is complete with working original gauges, although the heater fan is inoperative. The electric windows and sunroof are working. The passenger door opens from the inside but not from the outside. -
Zustand Exterieur
The car is presentable from a distance, but a closer inspection reveals cracked paint, blisters, and various scratches and marks (see pictures). The underbody is in better condition, with no major structural concerns, although there are signs of rust around the sills and evidence of older welding repairs in the boot floor.
The car will require cosmetic restoration and repainting to bring it back to a high standard, although it can also be enjoyed as it is and restored over time. -
Zustand gesamt
A great opportunity for the right buyer. Mechanically, the car appears sound and requires little more than a full service and general recommissioning, while the cosmetic paintwork and rust issues can be addressed over time to restore it to its former glory.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
