This car is a classic white GL with blue plush upholstery. Equipped from new with aluminum wheels, extra lights, a stereo, front armrest, Volvo original sport steering wheel in leather, extra instruments, wind deflectors for side windows, sunshade for the rear window, rubber mats, and a reflector ramp in the back, otherwise standard.
The mileage on the car is not accurate, as the odometer was replaced in August 2016 at 254 820 km with a used one. Inspection reports (all available) show a mileage of around 280-290 000 km. In addition to these reports, service records, instruction manual, other documents, and various receipts are included. When the car is delivered, it will be freshly inspected and ready to drive.

The interior is in immaculate original condition with nice door panels, headliner, dashboard and instruments, as well as seats in good condition and with retained firmness. Fabric carpets are in good condition with some wear on the driver's side. Rubber mats have always been used.

Volvo 140, updated to model 240 in 1975, is a classic Swedish icon. Whether you were brought home from the hospital in a taxi, went to IKEA with your parents, or rode with grandparents to the countryside, most of us have a connection to these cars.
Over the years, many variations and updates were made. When the new 740 model was introduced in 1984, some may have thought the "old" 240 model had run its course, but Volvo stepped up and continued to develop the 240.
Different engines, petrol, diesel, and turbocharged, were added over the years. The car was produced in two, four, and five-door bodies. There were different equipment variants with sports and flair, but the most genuine were perhaps the DL/GL models, part of the Swedish welfare state.
Initially, the GL model was a bit more expensive, but over time it was downgraded to the entry-level model. In 1981, it received the B23A engine.
There were hotter cars on the market, but few could match the combination of simplicity, durability, quality, and safety like the Volvo 240, a down-to-earth family car.
For the 1988 model year, the GL variant became the entry-level model and now had a catalytic converter. Over 2.8 million model 240 cars were produced, and even 30 years after the model was discontinued, we can still see them on the roads daily.
