This car was purchased in 1992 by the present owner's father, who was a car aficionado with extensive knowledge. The front wings were replaced and the car was repainted in the original color sometime in the 1990s. It has been driven very rarely in the summer since then, and the meter reading of 58,000 kilometers is correct. After his father's death, the son acquired the car but does not have enough space to keep it, therefore it must be sold.

The original furniture are in good condition, however the front seat has wear and the door cards are crumpled. The steering wheel is cracked, and the signal horn ring has been taped.

Fakten zum Modell
Peugeot 404 är en mellanklassbil tillverkad av Peugeot 1960–1975 (–1988 på vissa marknader). Den ersatte Peugeot 403 1966. Modellen hade en karaktäristisk design med fenor och var mycket slitstark, vilket gör att det än idag finns fullt funktionsdugliga exemplar kvar.
Karossutbudet bestod av en 4-dörrars sedan, en 5-dörrars herrgårdsvagn i 5- respektive 7-sitsigt utförande, en 2-dörrars coupé, en 2-dörrars pickup och en cabriolet. Designen stod, liksom hos föregångaren, Pininfarina för.
Motorutbudet var två 1,6-liters bensinare, en med förgasare och en med kügelfisher mekanisk bränsleinsprutning och en 1,9-liters dieselmotor. Växellådsutbudet var en 4-växlad manuell växellåda och en 3-stegad ZF AG-automat.
Produktionen upphörde 1975 i Frankrike men fortsatte fram till 1988 hos andra marknader utanför Europa. Totalt tillverkades det 2 885 374 exemplar mellan 1960 och 1988. Uppföljaren i Europa blev Peugeot 504.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
