Beschreibung
The car has had two owners, the most recent of which (the former VW Museum in Plåsboda) has owned it since 2013. The car's first owner, from Ludvika, ordered it in 1966 and had to wait 1.5 years because only a limited number of 1600L copies were made, the luxury model with a double carburetor, finer carpets and upholstery, more chrome and equipment. The car was driven to a limited extent until 1974, when it was parked in the owner's garage near his home. Due to illness, it was stored in another garage in 1975. Only the foreman at Volkswagen, "Bil och Buss in Ludvika," (who delivered and serviced the car) was allowed to drive it there because the owner was extremely meticulous and did not allow anyone else to get close to the car. The car is still as nice today in every detail as it was when it was new.

There is no damage or marks. Some oxide dots may be visible in the chrome on top of the rear bumper. The car is also thoroughly rust-protected under and in cavities.
